Softy of the night is this Jeff Petry goal on Koskinen. Koskinen is racking up the softies again lately, after playing pretty well the first couple months of the season and looking improved from last year, where he lead the league in my stoppable goal count, despite not even playing the clear cut starting goalie workload. This goal is really awful and pathetic. Looks like he gloves it for a routine glove save and nope. It goes off his glove and in.

Softy of the night is this Carl Soderberg goal on Jimmy Howard. Just a really bad goal. Looked hilariously bad and he knocks it into his own net. He let in three (including the Hall goal) poor goals in this game. With the Hall going being the least bad out of the 3 he should have had.

Hall goal wasn’t poor, that thing was ripped from the dot and it was perfectly placed next to the ear over the shoulder. That goes in on most butterfly goalies. Also, if you watch the slow mo side angle it does ramp up slightly off of the defensemans stick so it did change direction. That is not the goalies fault.

I don't think the Hall goal was stoppable, imo.

Goalie leaves the entire short side high open.

Most guys that used to play goalie that are commentators are gonna critique the goalie on that one. But a lot of people just see that as a ''Good shot''. And it was a good shot, but the goalie also gave him too much room.

Out of all the 3 goals he allowed that I marked stoppable, I would definitely say it was more more forgivable than the other two, which were just BAD in capital letters.

Was it a BAD goal? Nah. Surely one that goalie had a decent chance on though.

Computer didn't cooperate long enough for me to do my softy of the night after my review, so here it is. This Landeskog goal on Fleury. It wasn't even a hard shot.

Brossoit also had some really bad goals too, that I couldn't believe, nor could the announce crew. I forgot what they looked like though. They might have been worse than that Fleury goal. And even he let in a few poor ones last night.
