I would go with Lidstrom. Prime Hasek was just a couple of years. He struggled a lot at the beginning of his career. Same for Lindros whose career was shortened by injuries. Lidstrom prime was way longer and he was as dominant as those two.
Lidstrom prime almost lasted 20 years ...
Jets got a lot on their plate. But they have enough room under the cap. Trouba is the most difficult of them all, though.
I have 5 of those cards and I also have the one of him in his world junior team Russia uniform, he was so much fun to watch.Sure had strong legs
LOL Toronto going after another forward?
Dumba at $6M or Trouba at $5.5M?
I’m taking Trouba.
Trouba is 1 year and I haven't seen it official anywhere that Winnipeg accepted that. I
Since it was a player-elected arbitration, the team has the option to accept.
You think the Jets might walk away and make Trouba an UFA?
No, they might try and take that time to try and work out a contract again as I believe they can.

What don't you like about the Dumba deal?So you think they’ll let him walk for nothing at $5.5M?
Lol. Dude. They’re taking the arbitration number. If they trade him fine, he’ll still be at $5.5M with his new team and still a better deal than Dumba.

Their scores are going to look like an 80s team. Looking to break records.LOL Toronto going after another forward?
Well the only option would be for the Jets to accept the arbitrator's decision or let him walk correct? They can't negotiate any other contract? Trouba will still be RFA next year right? I'm surprised that they couldn't work out a long term deal especially since the Jets have the capspace and Trouba should have gotten a deal similar to Dumba right around $6M.
