Funny enough, before being bought out, he was about to make 4.5M$ for the next season. Now he's earning 1M$ + an easy 500k$ bonuses + 1.5M$ (possibly 3M$ this season)... and another 1.5M$ next year (+ whatever money he signs on). His cap hit goes from 5.5M$ to 1-1.5M$, nice way to circumvent the cap
