Events that are often considered to be extremely low probability coincidences are actually very likely to be the opposite, as they relate to other observers.

For example I cannot begin to count the number of times I was thinking of or reading a very uncommon word when it's simultaneously spoken on television or radio.

Jung was quite prolific on the subject of synchronicity. It's a heady amalgamation of physics, metaphysics, philosophy and psychology and has a legitimate place at the table in all those disciplines.
