Jets still have Mark Dano and Joshua Morrissey to sign as RFA's. Dano has filed for arbitration and his hearing is scheduled for July 30th.

But next year, Jets will have some big fish to fry.

- Black Wheeler will be UFA
- Patrik Laine will be RFA
- Andrew Copp will be RFA
- Connor Kyle will be RFA
- Jacob Trouba (if he stays) will be RFA
- Tyler Myers will be UFA

Islanders have 15 forwards, only Kovar, Beauvillier and Barzal can be sent down without having to go through waivers. It feels like they should trade forwards for a dmen.

The arbritrator's decision is final and a take it or leave it deal. That is literally the purpose of having an arbitrator, to resolve a dispute between two parties.

After the decision, the team has 48h to decide, if I remember correctly, but the two parties can still come up with a long term deal within those 48h.

The arbitrator has 48 hours to render a decision after a hearing is held. The player and team can agree to a contract any time before then.
