Guy makes Hank look like a kid. He hardly moved in the shootout we just shot at him or past.

Losing to a AHL team is just laughable. Zajac is playing terrible hockey and his stats are pretty brutal. We were winning games when he went on his slump but now, we need him to pick up the pace... And fast. Salvador looks like the Salvador I used to crap on game after game and I just hope his play during our cup run isn't a mirage cause that deal can turn out to be pretty brutal if that's the case.

Oh yeah, bring back Fayne ASAP

With hindsight if I had to hate a move so far this season, it's definitely when they gave Salvador the captaincy. I mean no doubt he's a good captain but that makes him an un-scratch-able player too. Zids, Volchenkov and Tallinder are constantly thrown under the bus here but I see Salvador as the real weak link of the defensive corps and it's not really close.

Don't even get me started on his ridiculous contract.

Couldn't agree more.

Naming Salvador as our captain made him a lock to be in the lineup despite his poor showing. That must be frustrating for a player like Fayne, who's been light years better then Sal so far this year.

All I know is I am never taking my daughter to another matinee. Lastyear iI took her to the Isles game where they ruled the Parise goal no good via kick. This year she gets this. Shetold me that the Devils always lose when she goes. Not good!

In other news she got to hi five NJ and take a picture with the cheerleaders which thrilled her.

31 shots - only 1 went in. That's a lot of missed opportunities. Elias in particular had 4 close in chances spoiled. Add to that half their team was call-ups and yeah, missed opportunity for a clean win.

After Carter went down, those lines looked real ugly. I had a hard time figuring out who was playing with who. It just seemed that every other line was shuffled and shuffled some more.

Must've been confusing like hell for the BPB guys.

Honestly, bounces were going to start going against us. If Patty had placed that shot only slightly better through the defender's legs when Bishop was wandering, we would've walked away with 2 points.

It's not like the Sens cashed in on their missed opportunities. Kovy made a "skate save" when we were on the PP, Alfie missed a wide open net when they were on the PP, etc...

We played like crap against a depleated squad and didn't warrant a single point IMO, so getting 1 doesn't feel all that bad.

I thought he looked great, but he really does need to improve his faceoffs if he wants to stay at center.

Kovalchuk playing like a massive train wreck defensively when on the left side... check.

I don't how many times this entire board will have to repeat itself but when on the offense, there's no "side"... it's stricly on breakouts and in our own zone cause outside of that, Kovy is roaming the ice like he pleases.
