Very deserving of that contract. Sucks that he won’t be back. His stint with the captain C was short, but I thought he represented the team well.

Take note Gens fans, Bridgeport is in Belleville on Friday November 15,and the General's are on the road that night.

Thought the Islanders organization would have something against bringing in another Oshawa Generals captain after the Tavares debacle last summer. LOL

Vande Sompel has been doing really well in Bridgeport. Would love to see him get a call up to the big club at some point next season.

Re Nov 15 B Sens game v S'Tigers, tickets can usually be purchased for 1/2 price or less by the wicket office. They never sell out (unless its the marlies) and season ticket / corporation holders will often sell $28 tix for $10.

You definitely will want to get seats higher up unless you're directly on the glass. The reno' job was poorly done IMO, with some of the lower rows having poor & blocked sight lines.

parking is free and there is a great wing joint 500 meters from rink called Slapshot.

Savard was just hired as an assistant with the St Louis Blues. Always wanted him to come coach here when we weren't sure what was going on with Bob Jones. Nice to see he's jumped right to the NHL level.
