He's pretty impressive when he's on. If NJ replicates that sort of approach with Jack with similar results I wouldn't complain.

Don't get me wrong, he is a very good player, I just don't think he is a star level player.

Barzal has been an excellent play driver in addition to everything else he does well. He plays with 0 other elite forwards. He is a star.

Not even 2 periods played. How many times do you see. Team adjust mid period, let alone between games? I would expect a long series 6 or 7 games.

For some reason if it isn’t easy for Tampa and they aren’t rolling, they’re choking and about to lose it all.

That said, using seven defensemen does keep their top three defensemen fresher but their top forwards, with OTs and injuries, are looking particularly gassed so that strategy has it’s downsides.

I don't know if it's possible for Dallas to get a penalty. They are getting away with everything.

And yes, probably way too early to say anything about this series. I appreciate that we haven't seen in game or between game adjustments in years, though
