Philly isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I've found myself far more often able to have a mature discussion with a knowledgeable philly fan than any ny fan. Don't get me wrong, I hate philly sports too, but I hate ny sports more.

It'll definitely be interesting to see which style they go for. Fans won't like it, but I think Bowness will play it tight. Too much firepower from Tampa for Dallas to match.

One interesting side story for the SCF will be the dismissal of Bowness a couple of years back by Yzerman which also seemed to have the blessing of Cooper. Doesn't sound like it was amicable.

Hah...I've never completely got past the image of Bowness I had from his being with some BAD teams in Ottawa and on Long Island but I guess he seems like a good guy and maybe deserved some luck this time.
