don't bring the .885. you are clueless. you didn't watch the game or you would know how good price had been.
enjoy Talbot useless year again.
Price at least had excuses in his injuries.
on top of a terrible Talbot, you bring Lucic dump LOOOOOOL do you really believe this is a trade Mtl woudl accept ? seriously...
Talbot + lucic cost us the same as Price. I will keep price
Price is a Vezina,Olympic, world champ. talbot is nothing, Lucic is slow and done.
Why isn't this locked yet ?
it's one of the most trollish dumbish proposition I have seen, all favor towards Edmonton
Price will need to show he's elite again before being value like an elite goalie. I get that the Habs were bad. I get he was playing through injuries, etc But those affect the perception of his value until proven otherwise. I think he can get there, but i think you'd be hard pressed to find any team willing to gamble on it because of the contract. If he doesnt return to elite status, thats one giant pill to swallow.
While Price would make Edmonton a 100x better, don’t think the Oilers would be able to build a team with 32.5m tied to 3 players.
Of course. We got a glimpse of it last night. Also, even if he does come back to his old self, I don’t think we will ever trade him anyway or even listen to offers. He’s too valuable for that
Right, the canadiens seem tied to Price at this point. As i said in another post, If price returns to form, the Canadiens dont entertain the idea of moving Price. If Price cant stay healthy, and doesnt recover form, you wont be able to move him. I'm hoping he does, because he's such a fun goalie to watch.
This, OP is brutal for the Oilers. Price is only worth that contract if he's performing as the best goalie in the world. No way he does that until he's 38/39.Him turning it down. I would never give that up for Price. If Price isn’t the best goalie in the world every year of his contract without any debate and 100% healthy.......then that contract of his is brutal. That OP offer is too much from the Oilers and Im not even a Oiler fan
Wait now, i think the Islanders can beat that offer:
Greiss, Laad, 1st, Komarov + 3rd rounder + Kuhnhackle lulz
You'll notice I added an additional piece of crap in addition to the collection of crap you already offered.
Price is just not available
More like Price is just not tradeable
meh Luongo says hi
Wtf ? Talbot dump, Lucic, dump, Mcloed ? He proved nothing and we have a ****one of mid tier prospect , yes even at center.
It's like Mtl will accept all the money dumping for a prime Carey price, did you even watched the game yesterday ? he made 3 saves of the night.
LMAO you are doomed with lucic and Talbot, enjoy them.
Lu was good not falling off and his cap hit became under 5 with retention not 10.5.
You realize when you make posts like this you lose credibility? Talbot is not a dump, B level prospect and a Oiler 1st is a solid return. Dump attached would be required with any trade for the brutal Price contract
Unless Price becomes & maintains the best goalie in the world title his contract is a significant liability. Any trade involving him would require the Habs taking a cap dump back.
yea I hear what you're saying but I really don't think Price has fallen off quite so much as the team around him cratered - the real problem now is how much can he pull it back when the team around him is still so bad - kind of tough to show positive movement when your team can't score
Habs dismantled the dcore in front of him and Bergevin was talking about pairing Weber with Benn at the golf tournament type levels of dysfunction before start of last season after he let both Radulov and Markov walk.
Last season is on his record but i wouldn't use that to guide judgement on his level of play.
Yeah, "lulz" that you think that Talbot and Griess have equal value and that the abortion of a contact that Komarov is is equal to McLeod. Yeah, lulz indeed.
Price is great obviously but no interest at all in trading for that contract even if it means offloading the Lucic contract.
I thought people knew that when I take the defense of Price I'm basing everything on his REAL self, not the price we seen last year and the year before due to injuries.
I'm not talking about a Price who finish the year with a 3.0, this would cause him to lose most of his value if he doesnt come back, but he will.
Perfect. Because Price is one of the very few contracts worse than Lucic.Price stays in Montreal - Lucic stays in Edmonton.
