That's what every teams fans do first. Look at Murray thread. Very positive.
Heiskanen is actually the only player in the 80 percentile so Girard is definitely unique.Just out of curiosity, are you able to get the comparables for Girard?

Can't wait to bump that MacKinnon thread when he wins a cup
Well, he has scored around one point every two games at times. That's what I based that on.I won't even say it.
Tatar apparently signing with NJD. Another potential Avs target gone.
Avs could maneuver the cap if they really wanted, they just don't want to.Not really an Avs target, Avs have like 2M in cap space. Don’t expect anymore signings.
At least we were able to keep JT Compher. Sakic make #CupOrBust moves.
How does this model factor in Byram and Newhook replacing Graves and Donskoi? So we lost 4+ wins with our moves, 3rd worst drop in the NHL after the Yotes and the Canes.
Looks like losing Saad, Graves and Donskoi hurts us much more than Tampa losing Johnson, Gourde and Coleman.

Neither have any impact in the NHL yet so I guess: not at all.How does this model factor in Byram and Newhook replacing Graves and Donskoi?
What are you talking about? Compher is an analytics god now? Also he was already there, how could he compensate the loss of other players? So you’re saying analytics god JTC can’t compensate? Colour me surprised.

If that's the case then things aren't as bad as that graph suggests.Since it is data based and those two are essentially rookies I doubt it factors them in at all.

You sure about that? Most GSVA models use totals (an algorithm of the last 3 year totals mostly weighted on the most recent season) instead of per game or 82 game projections. Not sure what Dom used here as he didn’t make it clear in the article but if he used 82 game projections the Avs numbers are definitely drastically inflated. The model would use Byram and Newhook's limited time to project their impact (so underrate). It would also just assume full health on Kuemper, EJ, and Murray (so overate).
