The U18’s look like they’re going to take down Michigan this week after Notre Dame last weekend.

I was hoping we would have added an impact Dman to our prospect pool in the last draft. Hopefully we do for the one. We need some high end Dmen in the pipeline.

If it makes you feel any better, Myers might be stuck "in the pipeline" for another 1-2 years. Hextall and Hakstol LOVE their current top 6 (except Sanheim of course but he plays the Left). Who does Myers ever replace before 2020?

It's sad, but true. We are going to me mired in mediocrity for the next 2 years because of Hakstol and his love for bad players plus Hextalls unwillingness to remove them from the equation

When we were up 5-2 tonight, I was like "Whoa - that's way above average." Then when we were tied 5-5, I was like "Whoa - that's very average." Then when we won 6-5, I was like "Whoa - that's exactly above average, that's what I expected."

Nah top 10-15. Even closer to 20.

I haven’t watched him or anything since the summer so I don’t know. Rankings are constantly in flux though. It’s only October. It’s funny seeing how quick things change for good and bad, right or wrong.

Craig might have in one of his real early lists coming off the U18’s last year which he played in.

Hockeyprospect is really the only other source that puts out pretty early ranking list. They have him #23 in their latest to start the year so I doubt they dropped him that much.

The Jack Hughes thread is pretty funny. He’s getting killed because he’s not a 2.0+ PPG player right now.

Turcotte has been banged up & missing time most of the year so far. It’s helped a guy like Zegras though with ice time/usage.

He’s playing in the CHL/Russia series for the WHL team. A 19-20 year old leading the WHL in scoring. Button had him #46 on his recent list.

An interesting development arch that you don’t really see often. Tanner Pearson had a similar one.

USA is waxing teams in that U18 Five Nations Tournament. They’ve beaten Sweden 8-1, Czech Republic 5-2, & Switzerland 8-1.

Hughes 6 goals & 9 assists in those games. So much for his production. This age group as a whole hasn’t lost a single international game together to this point.

Yeah they’ve loaded up their top line with Zegras-Hughes-Caufield instead of dropping Zegras or Beecher down to the 3C. They’re missing Turcotte who’s probably their second or third best player on the team.
