Won the season series 7-1, but playoffs are a different monster. Hopefully they shook the nerves off against Medicine Hat and can play the way they're capable of.

Jake Neighbours scored the GTG with 13 seconds left in the third, and the winner 3:20 into OT, and was named first star, as the Oil Kings replaced the guns of the Hitmen with trick guns 3-2 and take a 1-0 series lead. Parker Gavlas (named third star) had the other goal, while Andrei Pavlenko, Connor McDonald, Vince Loschiavo, Quinn Benjafield, David Kope and Andrew Fyten added assists. Dylan Miskiw (W 2-2) made 20 saves. Shots were 34-22 Edmonton. PP was 0/3, PK 3/4. Calgary won 35 of 63 faceoffs.

Dylan Miskiw (W 3-2) made 26 saves and was named first star, as the Oil Kings leaked into the scopes of the Hitmen 4-1 to take a 2-0 series lead. Matthew Robertson (named second star), David Kope (PP and named third star), Quinn Benjafield and Liam Keeler (GWG) got the goals. Vince Loschiavo, Connor McDonald, Wyatt McLeod, Trey Fix-Wolansky, Josh William and Jake Neighbours got the assists. Shots were 39-27 Edmonton. PP was 1/7, PK 1/2. Edmonton won 33 of 65 faceoffs.

Wyatt McLeod scored the OT winner and Quinn Bejafield added an assist. Shots were 29-25 Edmonton. PP was 0/5, PK 4/5. Calgary won 38 of 57 faceoffs.

The two best teams in the East are playing in that series, hopefully they wear each other out.

Blades blew a game 2 lead, they could almost be up 3-1. Still expect Raiders to get it together and come out of that series but making either team go at least 6 games is a help.
