Why do you feel the need to either make things personal or insult the cities/states of people? I'd much rather live in this area than NC, yet you don't see me bashing your state. Heck, I'd also rather root for the team that has won four Super Bowls in my lifetime than your team which has largely been a basement dweller. But that's meaningless as well.
That was entirely about the media blowing up (if not outright fabricating) something that isn't there. I felt like that was pretty obvious. It's not my fault if you choose to take that differently.
You've been saying that your squad did nothing wrong his entire time, which is laughable. The entire argument from Giants fans has been that 1) The Panthers are just as much to blame for instigating everything; 2) The Panthers, Norman, and the Practice Squad guy all need some form of punishment; and 3) OBJ took it further than them and finished it.
You want to talk about putting words in people's mouths and get so offended by it, quote me when I said they did nothing wrong. I've asked you (anyone) time and time again to provide something suspendable/egregious/dirty that Norman did and you've ignored it. He was chippy, but in no way did he do anything
remotely close to what Beckham did.
I count two instigations here, and nothing but allegations and hearsay of the other stuff. Meanwhile, Beckham lost his mind every play. On what planet is any of what Norman did even close to worth bringing up compared to OBJ's actions? Again, it's nothing more than flaggable chippyness at worst. OBJ went out with an
intent to injure and fight. That's so far past the line, he can't even see the ****ing line. The line is a dot to him.
Giants fans have been split on this. I'd say 50/50, even. Half believe that the OBJ hit was extreme, dirty, and uncalled for. Half believe it was extreme, dirty, and appropriate. Both are OK with the suspension as long as the Panthers organization and/or players receive some punishment as well.
Find me something, anything, worth punishing for the Panthers. You haven't, but you keep saying that's what they deserve. This doesn't seem to be based on anything.
But the way you've defended this thug with a bat and Norman throughout this has been the definition of homerism. Add in all of the insults thrown? Yeesh.
I have never defended the guy with the bat. I simply said there's absolutely no proof he did anything that has been said. You seem to be okay with taking hearsay and circumstantial video where nothing happens as proof to launch some baseless conspiracy theories. He got into an argument, clearly, with OBJ. That in no way means there was a threat of violence or things of that nature. If he did, he should be removed from the team. Simple as that. Until that proof shows, then there's nothing to see here but a diversion.
