My hope is a top end winger from the Euro draft to join Moncada and Coe on the top line and an overage defenseman

Forgot about him, he had a good year, with Ertel and Laforme committing NCAA it would be nice to see him fight for a bottom 6 spot.

Congratulations to North Bay native Brady Lyle on signing a 2 year pro contract (AHL). He was the 3rd of 4 consecutive first round Battalion draft choices to be traded away (3 to OS, 1 to GUE) by former management. He could (should) have been a valuable contributor here for 5 seasons.

Best thing that happened to him was getting traded. Butler wouldn't play him, like so many others over the years.
Our coaching change came a couple years too late for Brady.

I don't think he decided to forgo is OA season. I believe 60 CHL teams determined that.

Something interesting. Brad Lambert has apparently chosen to leave HIFK, leaving him open to be selected in the Import Draft.

I think it's pretty unlikely he'd report to North Bay, but not completely out of the realm of possibility. Maybe he sees it as an opportunity to make a name for himself.

2022 draft year, so he'd be a top line center for two seasons minimum. High end offense, which would make missing out on Fantilli sting a whole lot less.
