Good on Nick, let’s hope this is the season. He was on ice in the last minute protecting the 1 goal lead, but not on when LA scored to tie. Then he made a solid play along the boards against Doughty and a neat little pass leading up to the winning goal in OT.

I like the change up, gets stale watching the same crap over and over. At least something new to watch for

no idea, but I’ll guess not too concerned as he is at least 2.5 seasons away from suiting up for an NHL game. I just think Primeau at LW strengthens a weak position for NB
Hate to try Peters as a top 6 LW. They say it's all about the youth but the vets get all the ice time.
IMO Butler will never get a fair return for Peters, so play him a lot and see what he does. He's been great on the PK to.

Once Chenier & Struthers are traded/graduated, sure. Until then, there is nothing wrong with being 3rd line with Arnsby and Jackson or import. Moncada, Coe, Russell, Primeau should be playing top six minutes for the battalion.

Moncada?
Sure he's soon going to set a career high goal total but he should be on the 3rd line. He's not a skill guy, he's a great shutdown guy. And great in the PK (3 of his 8 goals) which also shows where his strength is. He'll be back centring the 3rd line soon. Maybe even tomorrow.

Would be nice if they can get Hugo Has to report next season. Still playing in Mestis so he hasn't been with his Liiga team for a while.

Good game for NB last night - kids don't quit. Goaltending is going to be bright spot - kid looked real calm in the net. Ya a big let down in the 3rd but that is the growing pains for a young team. Does Butler even talk to the team during the game? A good young progressive coach could turn this team around - look what happened when Wellwood went to Flint last year.

Thoughts about the Windsor game:
(a) If there is a ‘Top Ten’ somewhere of epic sports collapses - this game should make the list.
(b) If this was shown in a hockey movie, people would say, “yeah, a nice comeback, but it wouldn’t happen like that in real life” - guess what.
(c) Down a goal late in the third, the classic playbook move is pull the goalie - that might work for talented teams with lots of scoring firepower - but that’s not the Battalion.
(d) For the umpteenth time the coaches will say they’re rebuilding - apparently that’s happening at about the same speed as the Egyptians built the pyramids.
