Make it happen, please. Tired of watching how Mourice handles Ehlers. I am pretty confident he would become a much better player with most other coaches (but probably not all, Torts for example)
Better would be sacking PoMo, though. I like Winnipeg and the fanbase.

Good points and probably a little of both -

He was hit hard and didn't see it coming - looked like he was sick on the bench until they finally took him back to the dressing room.

Ehlers and Connor are not playing well in this series - both are perimeter players and neither are effective in tight checking, physical games.

Line #2 didn't get a lot of ice once the blender came out - Hayes was playing a horrible game and Ehlers was hurt.
As for Connor, he was getting pushed around by a heavy St Louis team.

Both these guys are inconsistent and will will need more time - luckily they are both young and will get more time.

Can you imagine Ehlers with McDavid? You damn right he would be a good fit for the Oilers Bargain contract too, propably the best winger for the Jets for a while now.

He got pasted last night sure but in general he doesn't struggle with space so much because of his elusiveness, if the refs actually enforced the rules during the playoffs he would draw a ton of penalties too.

Most of our nifty guys can usually stay our of trouble but this is the playoffs and there's no room out there - I don't see any of our young guys getting much done 5v5

here's to hoping he gets traded or Paul gets fired. As of now he is just wasting cap space that the team will need. I don't see Paul going anywhere so trading him might be a win/win.

those players have high hockey iq and would be fine under Maurice, just like Sheif and Wheeler. Ehlers has average iq at best.

Fair point, and no excuse on last year. But hard to produce this year when you're playin 10 mins a night with offensive blackhole in Kevin Hayes

It's not an excuse but I don't understand how posters can keep harping on last year's playoff stats and not mention the other young players that also played poorly. Ehlers played two less games, less toi than Connor and only had three points less while being shuffled around the lineup.
