I hope in 3 years we can look back at the 2013 draft and be like wow we collected Baptiste in the 3rd round and Possler in the 5th while accumlating other exciting talent in Ristolainen, Zadarov, Compher etc.

Possler (even despite injury) I'm really really really liking that pick and with more articles like this, its hard not to get excited with future names also in the mix like Reinhart/McDavid/Eichel/Barzal

I wouldn't be surprised if alot of teams aren't a bit jealous of our prospect pool.

Baptiste is going to put up some pretty inflated point totals now, he might hit 50 again with missing a chunk of games. This is great news, Sudbury was not a good place to be this season.

Baptiste to Erie is what basically everyone here selfishly wanted to see, so I've got no complaints with that move for him. He'll progress and produce just fine with McDavid and/or Strome as his center.

Erie, PA - Owner/General Manager Sherry Bassin announced Monday that the Erie Otters have acquired forward Nicholas Baptiste from the Sudbury Wolves.
Sudbury receives Travis Wood, Cole Mayo and four draft picks - two second round draft picks - Sault Ste. Marie’s in 2015 and Erie’s in 2018 -
two third round picks - Belleville’s in 2015 and Erie’s in 2020.

Baptiste, a 6’1”, 190-pound right wing has spent his entire junior hockey career with Sudbury playing in 207 games since the 2011-2012 season.
The Nepean, Ontario native has tallied 175 points and 80 goals over his career, including a 45 goal campaign with the Wolves in 2013-2014 season.
Baptiste was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the third round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

They can call him whatever they want (hopefully they can be called "future linemates" ). He still scored 45 goals last year with very little help. McDavid just makes it easier.
