McGuire caught unaware holding his bat for the second time this spring.
He was embarrassed, so this spring he is dedicated to taking it up a notch - apparently he's going b*lls out to win a job.McGuire caught unaware holding his bat for the second time this spring.

Alford not helping his case...but his competition is McKinney+Fisher so
I think we will be adding a cf next off season. Can’t see any of these guys sticking as regulars.Alford not helping his case...but his competition is McKinney+Fisher so
yeah they'll have to bring in another OF but I'm just hoping one of those 3 can establish themselves as a legit 4th OF. If the Reds are dumb enough to move Senzel he's my target backup plan is Brian Anderson on the Marlins or Trey Mancini on the Orioles even though they're corner OFersI think we will be adding a cf next off season. 1. Blue Jays
This team has a chance to move up in the American League East and not just because of a tremendous core of young position players, beginning with third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The progress will be fun to watch, but it’s the sudden influx of veteran starting pitching that opens the door for improvement in 2020. Toronto had a very good (and very underrated) offseason with the addition of four veteran starters -- Hyun-Jin Ryu, Chase Anderson, Tanner Roark and Japanese free agent Shun Yamaguchi -- and the expected return of Matt Shoemaker. The AL Wild Card race figures to be truly wild, but the Blue Jays could be part of it.
Jesus, Kirk almost didn't make it.
22. Toronto Blue Jays
Petriello: The Blue Jays have a bunch of young stars in the making, to the point that Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. might not just be “the sons of Vlad Sr., Dante and Craig, plus Yuli’s brother” for much longer. They rebuilt their decimated rotation, adding an ace-if-healthy-which-he-rarely-is in Hyun-Jin Ryu and some badly needed mid-rotation competence in Chase Anderson, Tanner Roark and potentially Shun Yamaguchi, depending on what role he ends up with. They still have Ken Giles, who was great in 2019.
This isn’t a bad team. But it’s probably not a playoff team, either.
First spring action for McGuire. I hope he isn't squeezing his bat too tightly.
McGuire was asked what young pitcher he was most looking forward to working with in the future and he said Woods-Richardson.
Im waiting for him to jack one out of the park, to the parking lot.
Wait...
it ends in a tie?
What manner of utter bullcrap is this?
