10+ games in the NHL regulation season if you're 18-19 on Sept 15 or 10+ games in any professional league regulation season if you're 20 or older on Sept 15 constitue a year of experience. Is this so? NHL.com says any third year professional is eligible to need protection.
Not sure who you were watching, but you couldn't be more wrong about PoehlingThat's fair. Though from what I've seen Poehling has low hockey IQ. He's like a 3C at max.
Makes a lot of mistakes. Maybe it's more an issue of poor puck handling. Not sure who you were watching, but you couldn't be more wrong about Poehling
Probably more an issue of you not knowing what hockey IQ means?Makes a lot of mistakes. Maybe it's more an issue of poor puck handling.

Hey to be fair, that guy watches Seabrook play every game. He knows a lot about a player who makes a ton of mistakes.Probably more an issue of you not knowing what hockey IQ means?
Poehling, Suzuki, KK and Domi will probably be the new core and each of them will be a franchise player in their own right. The future looks bright. The Habs are finally turning the corner, stacked at C with Danault down the middle. If only Drouin could live up to expectations.I've watched a few games with him and he HAS good Hockey IQ he just needs more seasoning. I think the Habs have an up and coming franchise player on their hands.
A WJC MVP with low offensive upside...Has the potential to be a good 2c behind Kotkaniemi.
Offensive upside isn't very high but he plays a very complete game.
Puljujarvi was a wjc mvp at 17 years old.... He's tearing it up rn right?A WJC MVP with low offensive upside...
You learn some every day.
People were saying he had the best offensive potential of anyone in his draft including Matthews and LainePuljujarvi was a wjc mvp at 17 years old.... He's tearing it up rn right?
Poehling and Pulju are nothing alike. Pulju was a WJC MVP before he even got drafted and then got ruined by the Oilers. Poehling was drafted by the Habs and then developped into a WJC MVP. Not the same. They also don’t play the same positions or have similar playing styles for that matter.Puljujarvi was a wjc mvp at 17 years old.... He's tearing it up rn right?
.... He's not comparing the players. Just saying that WJC MVP is not a good argument for arguing a prospects upside. Which is true. Anything can happen. Doesn't mean Poehling is going down Puljujarvi road.Poehling and Pulju are nothing alike. Pulju was a WJC MVP before he even got drafted and then got ruined by the Oilers. Whats the point? There are 4 games left, no playoffs, just bring him in next season.

No he doesn't.
Kevin Musto has spoken guys...Poehling is officially a #3/4C and nothing more.

Just been poorly developed by a shitty Oilers organization. Key point is 17yrs old. Should have left him to develop more. Poehling is 20yrs old and has a sound 200ft game.Puljujarvi was a wjc mvp at 17 years old.... He's tearing it up rn right?
