I don’t understand why there’s so much hesitation in the characters. It’s like they’re afraid to do anything

I believe we’re seeing the third personality come forward. Good episode, much more building for the final three. Not as good as the last one.
Yep exactly what I thought. We learn more about the gods and I still think we might see or have them mentioned in Thor.

This show is dumb.
I thought so too. Worst Marvel series so far.
Maybe it's because I didn't read the Moon Knight comics but the plot just seems so convoluted with random set pieces that don't contribute to anything. And if Ammit is so hard to find without the exact coordinates, why not just leave it at way instead of getting the coordinates which I presume Harrow is going to use as well. Just seems like a re-used TV drama trope.

I really wanted to like this show - the character and aesthetic have tons of potential, I like Oscar Isaac, and I was eager to see Marvel step up the plate of a psychological thriller and grittier comic adaptation. But that's not what we've really got on our hands.

To be honest, I'm more into the MCU when it's grounded in some form of reality.

All of the deity stuff gets to be a bit much for me.

Between the Eternals, the Egyptian pantheon, and now Zeus on the horizon, it appears as if this is going to be the norm. Asgard was already pushing it but they sort of explained it better.

I came into this like I do almost every MCU project, with 0 foreknowledge (I have never read comics). It seemed very weird from ads and not much buzz. But damn if this show isn't amazing. Very odd mystery thriller that wont be put into a box. I wasnt too sure about the multiple personalities, Isaac's english accent still throws me a bit, but they have approached it in a fairly unique and fun way. I love odd and different though I guess and this show has that going for it.

This one and Loki are miles above the rest the MCU shows. Wandavision suffered from a poorly executed climax and denouement and the rest are either entirely forgettable (Falcon and Winter Soldier/Hawkeye) or mildly dissappointing (What If). In my opinion of course. Assuming they pull off the ending here in last two eps, this was a fantastically executed show.

At the end of the day they call themselves gods and are not God. In the world of Marvel they are just species that are a lot older than humanity and as such, in most cases, much more powerful because of it.
