He is an American who lives in New York that becomes the protector of the new York Sanctom. How would making Dr Strange a Brit completely change the MCU character?
Should they have suddenly just changed wolverine to Aussie because of Jackson?

He'll probably use his regular speaking voice once he reverts back to Marc Spector. Moon Knight has multiple personalities and Spector is his normal self. In the beginning of the trailer, while he uses the odd accent, he's called Steven. Steven Grant is one of his alternate personalities. Why not just have the actors speak with their natural accents? Would people really have rioted in the streets if Marvel made Dr. Strange a pretentious Brit instead of a pretentious American? Same here. At least Tom Holland's American accent is actually pretty good (obviously Spider Man is the exception to this, can't be Spider Man if he's not in NYC).
Ya he was playing Anton Mogart/Midnight Man an art thief foe of Moon Knight.Gaspard Ulliel, who seems to have an important part as Midnight Man in the series, just died at 37 y/o (ski accident).
