Your last 31 of 32 posts have been leaf bashes. You don’t have any credibility with anything leaf related.

Make your account private at least. It’s way too easy to see your agenda.
Apart from the joke at the end, I don't think there's anything wrong with what I said really.

Also nice to see how much you care about someone's posts on a hockey forum on the internet.

But is it really that serious though?

Just get out of here, Boeser played, what, 65 games? He surely would have hit 30 and perhaps maybe scored more then your 'generational' playoff ghost did in his rookie season.
7 pts in 13 games as a rookie/sophomore #1C in the playoffs is a ghost?
What about McDavid's 9 pts in 13 games? Is he a ghost, too?

It's easy for you to spout off about stuff like this considering Boeser won't see a playoff game until his prime...

Boeser and Marner are on similar tiers as top young players (behind a top five of McDavid, Matthews, Eichel, Mack and Laine) with guys like Barzal, Pastrnak, Rantanen, Hischier, Draisaitl and the like.

Nothing the Canucks have, have ever had or will ever have is worth Matthews.

Totally agree. Skill players, especially young guys, I think people assume they're crap defensively until proven otherwise. I also think Marner's babyface makes people assume he's tiny. He looks like he's everyone's shy nephew.
he does look like a little kid and is still around 175lbs, but I think it's often forgotten that he's 6' tall. Also think that this year goes a long way to proving how good he is without the puck, was a huge plus defensive player but I guess results usually precede reputation by a bit

Proof you don't watch Boeser. Sorry the universe doesn't revolve around your playoff chokers. Boeser would be better then anyone outside of Matthews. SO take off those blue tinted glasses and give your delusional head a shake.
Right and I’m sure you rush home to watch the leafs? Boeser didn’t start the season playing on your basement dwelling, steamy pile of shit team he definitely wouldn’t have played for the leafs.

Would have been a fantastic edition to the marlies though.

Rather be playoff chokers than regular season chokers. Can't even get a seat at the table. Way to go Boeser :sarcasm:

Boeser is a good young player any team would be lucky to have. If we are talking about just goals he wins this hands down. However in terms of offensive ceiling I suspect Marner will be a better producer over all.

As opposed to the Leafs' illustrious playoff record over the past 40 years ...

Can't win unless there's 6 teams and has access to all the best english-speaking talent in the league and, even then, still outdone by Montreal.
how do the leafs have" access to all the best english-speaking talent in the league"?

Boeserd shot is money but Marner can do so many different things out there and always drives the offense on his line so il go with Marner.

Boeser is better than every player on the Leafs with the exception of Matthews. You have no idea what you're talking about. But nice try, Leafs homer. You're in the running for stupidest post of the week!

But it's funny to see how quickly you and your like have forgotten that your team was the laughing stock of the NHL for the last decade. Perhaps you shouldn't be throwing stones inside that glass house of yours, until the Leafs actually accomplish something more than just making the playoffs.

Nothing the Canucks have, have ever had or will ever have is worth Matthews.
Bure and the Sedins might have something to say about that. Matthews is barely a PPG player and has disappointed in the playoffs so far. Obviously, he's very young and has time to get there but this isn't a Crosby/OV/McDavid-level player we're talking about here. He has A LOT to prove, before you start comparing him against HHOFers like Bure and H. Sedin.

he didn't even make the canucks opening roster and Toronto/ Babs is swimming in winger depth. Nobody expected boeser to be as good as he was in the NHL, he wouldn't have had the same chance with the leafs.

better than everyone except Matthews while being compared to marner who's less important than Rielly, right.

We remember those years and how insufferable canucks fans were when they were a good team, just because your shit now doesn't mean we don't remember when you were (and somehow still are) the arrogant ones.

Half the canucks fans still seem to think they can trade scrubs like gudbranson and Sutter for the second overall pick, or that Tanev is more valuable than Hamilton when he was traded. If anyone needs a reality check its canucks fans. At least oiler and habs fans see the horrible state of their franchises, you guys act like signing a new eriksson deal will turn you around because you have 2 good prospects.

What do you mean? At the start of the year he wasn't a ~30 goal NHLer. He didn't even crack the Canucks roster at first, and the Leafs have way stronger RW depth. he'd have had to play in our bottom 6, and Babcock might not have loved that idea. That doesn't mean Boeser isn't an extremely talented player, but circumstances do point to the possibility that he might not have even played for the Leafs

When looking at the Leafs depth I can't see how Boesser would have started this season with the Leafs if he was on their roster. Someone like Kasperi Kapanen who had a very good 2017 playoffs didn't even make the Leafs opening night roster and started with Marlies in the AHL.

Marner is a much more talented player than Boeser. It's like comparing Kane-light to a supped up Patches. One guy is good at everything offensive related (goal scoring will come) and the other guy excels at one area (scoring goals).

Boeser has shown more than big game Kappy. Look all the people who have leap-frogged Leivo.
No doubt Boeser leap frogs him too.
