I would like to see what kind of playoffs he has. They signed Waked to an NHL contract and he looks terrible in the AHL though not his fault as he should be in the ECHL same for Bourque.

That part of his game has been fine in my book, although he does tend to try to do too much and gets into penalty trouble as a result. Too bad he was born in the wrong era !

Theirs value in having a guy like him in the AHL though. Especially when you have a lot of rookies and smaller players.

For a little additional context, there's been a lot of heat between the two teams this season . Lots of taunting on Syracuse's part, unnecessary contact with our goalies, etc. in prior games . So that was a bit of a '' well f*** you too then'' statement shift.

Pezzetta hasn't played much this year, he's on the 4th line when he does play and he's been a healthy scratch because I'm sure Bouchard hasn't been happy with him at times as he like many players like him plays on a fine line between big hits and stupid ones that cost his team. When they had so many call ups and injuries, he got back in the lineup. He hasn't produced much of any offense, his game is all about being physical.

I think he's a useful player to have in Laval as long as he continues to play smart, work hard and take the body. He's got the speed/skating to be an effective 4th liner but needs to add some mass and strength to his lower body. Maybe in time he could be more then a 4th liner in the AHL
