This is why Twitter is so ridiculous. He really didn't tho.
The crying over who broke it first is unprofessional and juvenile.
People so desperate to be first they throw the crap around; quality of reporting decreases greatly.

Still in non contact jersey?
Thankfully the NHL suspended the player one game.
Gryz would have made a massive impact with his transition game.

Yeah we should have been trying to extend him yesterday seeing what Girard got.
Do folks still think Gryz can't be a realistic replacement for Krug?
Gryz is faster, better defensively (leads the defense in on ice sv pct), is just starting to showcase what he can do offensively, and will probably cost half of what Krug costs.
Replace in what way? Being an elite powerplay weapon? Not a chance.Do folks still think Gryz can't be a realistic replacement for Krug?

Meaningful top four minutes as part of an elite defence corps? Dude is already there.

Grizz may have a place on the powerplay, but I reject the notion that Krug is just another guy there or that he is easily replaced. I've seen that a lot on the boards that "if so-and-so only did this and this other guy did more here, Krug's production would be entirely mitigated".I meant replace him as a top4 D on an elite defense, but I'm not convinced he can't be a power play weapon either. He sees so little time there... I think he's just starting to flex his offensive muscles.
I think if you’re comparing what each player brings to the team, they’re pretty close in value. Krug brings elite offense with average to below average defense, while Grzelcyk has above average offense and defense. I think they’re similarly good in transitioning the puck from defense to offense.Grizz may have a place on the powerplay, but I reject the notion that Krug is just another guy there or that he is easily replaced. No. If Krug goes, make no mistake, we will miss him. Grzelcyk's ascent or nay. It's probably the smart play however.

I wouldn’t say Grzelcyk can replace what Krug brings, but I do think he can be just as valuable as Krug in the top 4.
