Goalies are voodoo
1st rounder Jack Campbell struggled for half a decade of pro hockey before eventually developing into the goalie he is today.
Goalies are voodoo
Shouldn't really judge or expect anything for a couple years, really.
Abruzzese's NCAA season isn't over. He'll at least be playing a best of 3 at home against St. Lawrence next weekend and those statistics will be recorded in his season totals.
2 goals for Robertson so far. Needs 1 more for 50. How did we get him at 53?
Nuts that we got him where we got himHat trick for Robertson. Goal #50
What a difference a coach makes in this instance. There isn't much to talk about since Keefe, and a few players left.
Rare night for Robertson with no points.
Dreger is saying it will take 8 million to keep robertson in toronto
It's his first season in the AHL. If this was say his 3rd season, I'd be worried. Give him time, be patient.Really disappointed with Woll's numbers. Thought he would be one of our goalies of the future.
Brazeau with 4 goals
It will be a tough choice between keeping him or getting Jimmy Vesey.LOL!
Well played.....
Brazeau with 4 goals
I haven't watched him for awhile and I wonder if there's a noticeable improvement in his skating as season has progressed
@Growler, has he improved in that area?
Thanks for doing this stickty!Prospect of the week
Robertson wins it. He had a hat trick in 2 games this week, including getting the 3rd goal shorthanded.
No worriesThanks for doing this stickty!
I'll admit I've only seen him live a couple times, but it immediately stands out how terrible he is defensively... Intriguing offensive skills, but he looked to me like a less-refined version Hollowell.I wonder if Duszak gets some NHL time next year.
He'll be 23, and by that age, you should be getting at least a cup of coffee in the NHL.
I'm sure we're all aware, but there should be some handicapping of Abruzzese due to his age. Turns 21 this summer, so his production should perhaps be judged more relative to sophomores/juniors than a freshman.Got my first full look at Abruzzese last night against RPI.
He's one of the smallest prospects i've seen in our system. It's not even that he's short, he looks physically less developed than 2015 Marner with a 12 year old baby face.
Commenters kept raving about him as a superstar freshman and even though his line had an off game, you can tell the elite skill is there. Honestly looks like Johnny Gaudreau with less straight line speed and its no surprise that Harvard boasts one of the best PP's in the nation because it runs through Abruzzese.
A lot of areas in his game need improvement, though. He's many years away. Could see him facing similar problems that Bracco went through.
