Nice work cherrypicking a play. Desperation?

Nice forecheck by Liljegren to set up the tying goal.

I was impressed by the player but couldn't figure out who it was... very impressive effort. Stuff like this is what our NHL guys are missing most.... Hyman is the only guy with this kind of motor day in and day out, not one other guy on our team with a comparable fearlessness (except maybe simmonds).

I'm excited for liljegren... his confidence level went from 0 to 100 seemingly overnight.

Korshkov with 5pts in 4GP for Lokomotiv in the playoffs so far. Would have much preferred to include Barabanov + in that deal but hard to say if he has any market value.

Won't love seeing two physical PWFs in Korshkov and Joshua play for NHL contenders, even if it's in a limited depth role.

Veeti Miettinen practiced with SCSU on Sunday, will be game-time decision | The Rink Live

Miettinen practiced yesterday but is still a GTD for today.
His teammates were very complementry of his play this season.
Before the NCHC quarterfinals, Huskies senior forward Kevin Fitzgerald was asked what some of the reasons were for his team's improvement this season and he had a one-word answer.
"Veeti," Fitzgerald said with a smile. "I'm just kidding.
There's been no transition period for him whatsoever," Fitzgerald said of the 19-year-old. "He's so smart out there. He sees plays develop and I'm like, 'Wow, I did not see that.' He's obviously got a great shot, super great skater. He joked when he got here that he didn't like to play defense, but his defensive game is also tremendous.

Shouldn't Liljegren get an assist on this? He made a deke and passed it to Anderson who dumped it in, and then chased after the puck on the forecheck, and then Barabanov centered it to Anderson for the goal.

Agreed he deserves the assist, someone should let the AHL stats guys know.

Lily has leveled off and is basically a defence first type player, these days if your not a offensive young prospect your considered meh, you can thank the stats guys for that

Why make comments if you clearly don't watch the player play?

Last year he had 30 points in 40 games, out of u-21 dman scoring he was second for ppg, and third for total points.

This guy is great offensively....

Edit: didn't realize this was an older comment.

Dubas has done a nice job 0f restocking the Hurricanes

Kral nearly averaging a monster 28 min/game in a tied 2-2 series heading into a do-or-die game 5. Just shy of PPG.

Kral's the highest scoring U22 defenseman in 20 years in the Czech league (regular season).

Not popular opinion, but I would rank him above Kokkonen. He will make an immediate impact for the Marlies. Assist from yesterday below:

I watched the game today. He had to make like 3 big saves and missed one of them for his goal against. Not really his fault, he got across pretty well but the guy shot a knuckler that went right above his glove. If he stayed upright he would have got it but it was going to be a one timer so he made the right move if the guy didn't totally whiff.

Dmitri Katelevsky impressed me too. Works really hard, always covers his defense, strong in the dot, and displays a very mature, field general type game. He is not elite or anything, but he plays the kind of no-nonsense style you like out of a 3C.
