i'm re-watch Godfather 1 and 2 and I tried to watch 3 last night, I had to stop halfway through and I don't know if I'll ever watch the rest
I get that "the character changed as he got older" but the change Michael got is way too drastic, he's suddenly a happy fun guy who makes jokes in an american accent who smoked 50 cigars a day for 15 years... i'm sad
its really not that bad...
and the last two scenes are two of my favorites scenes of all time. powerful, powerful ****.
if only for closure, watch it
The upcoming Kurt Cobain documentary looks amazing:
Watching Interstellar, in a tie with Gravity for worst hyped movie I've seen this decade and WTF is up with that robot? Worst droid since Twiki

It's a bad movie, especially compared to the first two. At one point it gets difficult to even follow the plot, too convoluted for my liking. Some scenes you don't even know if they are in Italy or back in America, the story has holes everywhere. Also they had to come back and add dialogue after the movie was already shot for audiences to better understand the plot, so you get a bunch of scenes with characters in the distance and you hear dialogue between them. You could tell the dialogue doesn't match the body language, even Coppola said it was a mess at one point. Didn't like the Sofia Coppola casting, didn't think she was good. The movie still has some great scenes and elements because of the great actors though.its really not that bad...

Furious 7: shockingly outrageously amazing #1
Just saw the special secret unofficial world premiere at SXSW. First public screening of the film.
This is maybe the best summer popcorn blockbuster action flick of the last ten years. No joke. Fast Five was a lot of silly fun, and 6 had some fun moments too if a little bogged down in familial sentimentality, but 7...
It pulls a little from all the previous films and includes a lot of nods, but without feeling like retreading ground lazily. Everything is an escalation of previous events, a completely ludicrously insane escalation that effectively makes Furious 7 a superhero film. And what a goddamned awesome superhero film it is.
The set pieces never stop, and get crazier at each step. The cinematography is fast without being unintelligible and has a hyper-kinetic inventiveness that adds incredible oomph to the fight sequences for a big budget hollywood flick. It's not The Raid 2 or anything, obviously, but it feels influenced by it to some degree (like Winter Soldier). I think they might be figuring out how to do action again in the big leagues.
If you thought that climaxes of #5 and #6 were over the top, zany, and insane, that's pretty much the resting pulse rate for #7. And it's all broken up by amazing '80s Schwarzenegger-style testosterone-fueled one liners and smirks and stares at the camera, and actually tight on-point humor. Also one of Jason Statham's most badass roles across his entire career.
It's a true love letter to Paul Walker.

Gravity was a great, and taught, experience, not at all comparable to Interstellar.Watching Interstellar, in a tie with Gravity for worst hyped movie I've seen this decade and WTF is up with that robot? Worst droid since Twiki
I wouldn't say it's that bad - decent flick but it was very ambitious and some of the set pieces were marvelous. Standard Nolan.Yup.
POS.
I hate everyhting about this movie.
Every damn thing.

A guy on Neogaf posted this :
You guys can't even begin to comprehend how hyped I am
If you didn't see Gravity at IMAX I feel bad for you. Best experience I ever had at the movies.
