Wolanin has strung a couple of nice games together. When you can be a difference maker like that, you will get opportunities regardless of other deficiencies.

Always great to beat the leafs but knowing that their fans came into the game expecting an easy win and a big offensive performance only to fall flat on their face makes it so much better.

Great game, and Toronto’s forwards were well controlled tonight. The players really wanted to win this game, and you could see it by the way they battled for loose pucks and board work.

Nilsson was a rock. But the mobility of our defence, minus Chabot and Brännström, was impressive. These guys will get better.

Ottawa can drag themselves out of 31st.

Crazy how a player like Wolanin will start looking good once you give him more than a game or two to get comfortable and let him play more than 15 minutes.

Boucher messed up big time by keeping such a tight leash on 86. Only one of his major goofs.
