Like I've said before, I think in theory that's a pretty smart move. Recoup some assets for a guy who will walk otherwise. I don't think we're going to be contending this year anyway.

Problem is I'm not sure what kind of message that sends to the players (both within our team and pending UFAs). And Holland doesn't have that kind of bold, out of the standard playbook mentality anyway (from what I've seen, although Neal for Lucic is a good counterexample).

Was one of the best Oilers last night, gets scratched, Tippett has his odd things..

We'll see what happens with DRY I guess with 2/3 of the line banged up. I'm not holding my breath on great things..
But Nuge seems to elevate when this happens . Albeit he usually elevates for McD as well..

Alot of talk about RNH and his new contract but his old bar buddy Taylor Hall is even more of a question mark when it comes to long term deals. 1 goal in 19 games for the Sabres this year.

Here’s a crazy idea :

Keep Nuge Drai Yams together for the rest of the season and then try Archibald , Ennis or Kahun with JP and McDavid.

Puljujarvi and McDavid have great chemistry together and we have other options to play with them.

Did they agree to go at it next game? I fell asleep Monday night...my 2 favourite teams but 10 pm starts are rough LOL.
