I enjoyed the 2nd period, the 1st and 3rd not so much.
But that seems to be par for the course this year with the Leafs with only burst within a 60 minute game that bring enjoyment and true pleasing entertainment.
It's like a Déjà vu game after game of the same thing over and over. Outplayed, out shot and out chanced backed up by strong goaltending keeping the Leafs in games and opportunistic special teams play preventing losses.
Against a strong team like the Bruins its expected, but not against NJ, and Calgary etc etc as the leafs come across as the underdogs in almost every game they play and more fortunate to record wins then truly earning them on merit of play throughout the course of the game.
