As far as I remember hockey is a team sport.
Stempniak was subject of a poor system that didn't work for him. I remember what happened after he got traded to Phoenix though.
Nonis pulled the deal, not Burke.
Burke did great for us, but Nonis has only been in charge for just over a year. As good as he was, he was a distraction to the organization, which is why MLSE had to get rid of him.
The posts I quoted were on different pages, I responded when I first saw them. But next time I'll make sure to not upset your royal highness.
Really, Hockey is a team sport? When did that happen? Maybe you should inform Interactif/honesthockey about this revelation considering he's the one blaming the 23 year old for us missing the playoffs.
Stempniak had one good run with Phoenix, what has he done since, what did he do in the playoffs?
The Phaneuf deal was Burke, he just gives out far more praise then some people deserve. Burke set the target and Burke set what he'd be willing to give up. He wasn't the type of person to boast all about himself.
In one year Nonis hasn't given me much to feel confident about. But like you said, he does deserve more time and I'm willing to give him that, we'll see what he does this year.
