You should be more concerned about Kaprizov's production when he's not playing with Zuccarello. Kaprizov didn't click very well with Fiala either, and that was a surprise. But maybe that's on Fiala, chemistry is a funny thing.

Every time Kaprizov and Fiala were on the ice together they made stuff happen. They just barely play together.

Yeah, it's also time to end the 'roll the lines' thing on the PP. It was an okay idea when they needed to pop the scoreless streak but it's just stupid now. Put your best players out there together and they will start to score. Irresponsible that Kaprizov and Fiala don't play PP together.

Kaprizov was playing at a 0.75 clip despite getting no time with Greenway, JEE or Fiala. I dont know what you are talking about. How is someone going to produce with Bjugstad and Parise's corpse?

They've played together on PP1 for some time, and you know the PP has been a disaster. Would've been on the same line 5v5 if Evason thought they had some chemistry.

No, that's incorrect, you are wrong about this.

The PP sucked, but that was a team and system failure, not a Kaprizov and Fiala failure.
And they're kept separate because Evason wants to spread the talent out, not because Kaprizov and Fiala don't work together.

The Dr is right, every time they've been on the ice together, they generate great scoring chances and zone time. It has nothing to do with their abilities, chemistry, whatever. Everything to do with Evason's coaching decisions.

Please stop peddling BS.

I disagree, they didn't impress me on the PP.

Neither of them can completely wash their hands of the power play failure, because they're the two most talented players on the ice in those situations, but everything else around it this year has made it an uphill fight for them.

Not saying they can wash their hands, just saying it goes beyond just those two

And try and use Crosby as a sales pitch. Save a little and then you can afford to pay other pieces. Crosby is such a good example of not greedy, and he wants to win.
