At this point I basically expect us to waive Czarnik next year and he gets claimed by Vancouver or someone and makes us pay for years.

The skill is there. I feel like he need to play with two bigger, stronger guys. Neal is a start, but maybe Bennett, Monahan, Jankowski, or Lindholm down the middle.

Right now the Czarnik-Ryan combo is soft, reminds me of the Nugent-Hopkins-Eberle combo that Edmonton used to roll, except one is a third line and one was a top line or checking second line (lolll)

I think its silly to put Lindholm back at centre at this point as he has done well on the wing. I would like to see more Gaudreau - Backlund - Lindholm and Tkachuk-Monahan-Bennett

Smith looked nervous but made the saves he needed to make.

I didn't see the first, but the Flames looked lazy in the second offensively but played strong defensive hockey. The third period was pretty standard Flames stuff, very good hockey.
