Keeping him will make it worse.

Hitch is a fine coach when things are going well, if it nose-dives (as it has in the last 20 games) he's the last person you want around young players.

He is toxic when things are going bad.

I kinda agree. If we sell at the deadline (lol, "if"), move Hitchcock to an advisory role. No sense trying to crush the coal into diamonds with the playoffs out of sight.

I believe he was gone for an extended period of time down the tunnel one game he was pulled. You may be correct that he never returned prior to this game.
iirc he came back after the intermission.

Send Hitchcock up the river. Team is actually worse under him than Todd.
They are worse under Hitch.

But there's no point in firing him now. The season's over already and the roster isn't good enough to matter who the coach is. I'd wait until the end of the year, quietly tell Hitch he wont be back and then have whichever coach that gets hired as the new head coach get to choose who he wants to keep and who he wants to turf.

Hitchcock literally had a 30-60 second presser.

He already sounds like Mclellan at the end of his tenure. Defeated, doesn't have a clue.

Said he made the goalie change because he needed a timeout without a timeout.

And then the team stopped skating.

Did he put Talbot in timeout? That why he didn’t come to the bench

Right, now he's pissed. How many years of excuses has he made for this team. He's employed by them so now he's admitting to the mistakes that Chia has made since he's gone now. I don't respect that.
Yep. Absolutely no respect for it at all.

Defended or made excuses for every single one of Chiarelli's trades when they were made. Now that he's gone has no hesitation in calling out the bad moves (while simultaneously trying to suggest that the OBC who are still here had nothing to do with any of this mess).
