He really changed my mind - he's so smart, he has confidence to make plays at this level, he's processing the game at nhl speed and he protects his body more than a guy like Ehlers.Cole looks good - making it really tough on Mo.
The guys all hockey sense - always looking to make a play and rarely makes a bad one.
Even though he could solve our 2LW dilemma, I still think the best move for the team is to start him on the Moose. We just have too many quality forwards, some of them who need to be in the NHL at this point in their careers. From a pure asset management perspective is the logical play. He's undoubtedly the best choice for a call up if one of our top 6 get hurt.
I'd love to see Svech get an extended look at 2LW. 71-80-27 could be a lethal, balanced line.
