We definitely have to clean up some things, especially in the 3rd, but we look good and it's comforting having a backup that can play just as well as our starter so far.
I'm not going to name posters but I have been here long enough to notice certain posters lean towards negativity and pessimism by default. It's in their nature. Even when it comes with scouting young players. This helps me adjust to account for that when browsing and posting in game review threads.
Maybe Vegas last year wasn't the only team with a bunch of guys having career years.
Laine needs to up his game. The way he is playing now does not match his ego or his and his agents contract expectations. Not even close.if Brossoit keeps playing this well its time for chevy to trade helle and that albatross contract. use that cap space to sign laine
There will always be a contingent of fans who think Mo is a bad coach no matter how he does. It's like that on any of the team forums that have a large enough fan base. There is even a contingent of TO fans who think Babcock is a terrible coach.
Can we all agree that the broadcasting crew revealed some real gems today?
Walks the line like Johnny Cash - Dman walking the blue line
Like a golf ball on a dirt road (probably meant gravel road) - bouncing puck
Jets playing Jazz right now - tons of pressure in the Ozone
I'll be using those in future posts. Remains to be seen if they go back to those in future games - repeatability

Until Laine proves himself as someone other than justa power play specialist, i dont think so.no its not...jets dont have the cap space to sign laine connor and morrisey....they need to dump some salaries...helle and little are the best options... little has a no trade clause I think.... so helle makes the most sense IF Brossoit can prove himself as a starter
They say stuck in your waysAllot of people apparently haven't heard of the notion of "If aint broke, don't fix it. Maybe they are millennials who haven't head of that expression?
If Mo doesn't react after this game then one of two things is happening:
1) He doesn't understand 5v5 hockey at all. Could be even one of those "analytics destroy my enjoyment of the game" guys (which is fine for fans obviously, not least because they get to measure their opinions against the data)
2) His hands are tied either due to the players or the upper management
Didn't watch the game, happy to see but a bit disappointed Ehlers nor Laine potted one. How'd they look this game?
On one hand I'm ecstatic to see Lowry and his line have the scoring touch. However would like to see the jets put up 5+ with the top 2 lines dominate..regardless, a wins a win
Best part is Buff in the still frame (well, the hit was pretty good too)In case you missed it:

Coaches have so much more to deal with then just play this player with that player. Some players prefer other players, some have ice time expectations, some are in your ear about every little thing. You don't please your players, you end up getting shut out of the room and then you kiss your job goodbye.
You in another thread:
Never stop panicking. I find it weirdly comforting. The more you are worried the more relaxed I feel that everything will turn out alright.Jets lose the Corsi battle 58-42%
Jets lose the xGoals battle 62-38%
Jets a bottom-3 team in the NHL in the season in xGoals %
This game was a moral defeat. Jets only won this and the Vancouver game because of those teams' lack of finishing talent. Against the Leafs this is a 7-4 game.
Wheeler looks awful and that contract doesn't even kick until next season. I have genuine concerns that that contract could be an albatross on this team.
Not trying to be an alarmist but it is time to panic!
I was sick to my stomach watching the Scheifele line thrown out shift after shift after they shat the bed so hard and took 3 penalties.
Mark Schiefele: 21:26 mins TOI
Blake Wheeler: 20:46 TOI
Two players who were 23% and 22% Corsi respectively tonight.
