Thoughts? Obviously this is a four quarters for a dollar type deal; but the Canes owner has made it clear he wants to make the team younger, and give it grit, which all of these pieces accomplish in their own right. It's also been made adamantly clear that Carolina doesn't want to spend too much money, so its difficult for the Habs to send much more in terms of value without sending a dump like Alzner.

I know now what it feels like to be gifted several #1 overall picks, one of which is a generational player, while still finding a way to not make the playoffs regularly.

I don't think there's even enough value here to call this 4 quarters for a dollar.

It's more like a nickel, pocket lint and a couple quarters if you value those picks that highly.

Gets it done in EA but I don't see why they'd accept this in real life especially since you're dumping Shaw and his terrible contract on them.
