Ohio won in front of 45k fans

That's back 2 back Ws vs Michigan they are now tied for 2nd. Michigan is a powerhouse with several high 1st rounders. Ohio doesn't even have 1 iirc.

Ohio lacks talent, but they are playing structured hockey in front of Dobes, who clearly is their superstar, the same way Price was ours and saved our ass for years.

Dobes has very high upside IMO, wont be the next Price, no one will, but I think he can become a solid top 10 in the game. Im no goaltenders expert, but he just has the whole toolkit, size, good technic, good athleticism, high compete, nice gloves work, great puckhandling ect. Hard to not be excited about this kid.

Do you think Dobes stays another year at Ohio or signs with the Habs? He's had a couple strong years at Ohio.
Dobes seems to want to finish his studies from a recent interview I read, so I'm not sure he would sign this year if the Habs offered.

I would sign him to turn pro next year.

Allen should be traded this summer and try Montembeault/Primeau for a year.

Dobes and Poulin in the AHL.

Vrbetic let go.

Dobes has put up two consecutive seasons that appear to be impressive yet there is little hype regarding this guy. Does he play behind a stellar defense or is he a good prospect?

Hes a good prospect. Ohio State was a nightmare defensively last year. Better this year but still not good.

He's just had no exposure. Every goaltending prospect that gets high billing has played at the WJCs or WCs or Olympics. He hasn't so he doesn't get hyped publicly.

Also hasn't taken part in the habs training camps.

Dobes named to the Honorable Mentions team for the Big-10 conference. Which are a list of players who didn't make the First or Second teams, but still deserved to be highlighted.
