It's still crazy to say it's the players fault.
The owners locked the players out, people...
Yeah, you go on believing that. Typical union naivete.

Uhh...Bettman is leaving Toronto. Negotiations are shutting down. I'd say it is looking pretty bad.
Give it a rest. We read the NHL's proposal. It was very close to, if not, fair. The players don't want to play hockey, they want a raise on their billions.
The players locked themselves out. You can't play hockey without agreeing to a new CBA.

As much as a PR move it was it was also a legit offer to get negotiations going.
57% of billions: Awesome Pay
50% of billions: Awesome Pay
0% of billions: Not so awesome pay.
Today, the players have chosen ZERO percent of billions for their pay this year.
Totally untrue.
Not even close to the truth.
It's October 18th. They won't cancel the season until January.
The players proposed more then 57 percent!???? Hahsha

Does the PR battle really matter that much though. I know people are all mad but somehow I dont' think the players or the owners will just cave because the fans are upset. The owners canceled an entire damn season and didn't give a **** that the fans were mad about it
NHLPA probably tried to see if the NHL would blink.
owners don't really get much either if there's no hockey
