Because we have become a team with little discipline. Mind boggling. I like Hathaway but he needs to sit a few shifts.

Disagree, that may have been the case when he first came up but the last 3 or 4 years he's been at his best when he's been forced to sit for a while. I believe his Cup run was as much him getting to rest as it was a reset.

Maybe you don't remember but he had 3 consecutive seasons with 40 plus wins, including a record tying 48. He put up some sick numbers.
When he started sharing the net he numbers and play declined big time.
And in the Stanley Cup playoff run, he didn't start the playoffs but he took over when Grubauer faltered and played great. He could have been considered for the Conn Smythe trophy that year.

He had been benched for the final two months that year, which is why he didn't start the playoffs.

He put up big regular season numbers when they rode him into the ground, then faltered in the playoffs each year. THe year he was borderline Conn Smythe was the year he was rested (from being benched).
