If the Bruins streak was gonna end, on the road at Pittsburgh is no shame.

At home against Ottawa or Florida would have been weird.

If a long streak is gonna end, better it be against a good team (CBJ’s 16 game streak ending at Washington) than a meh team (Blues’ 11 game win streak snapped at Dallas in between Toronto/Boston)

Rittich doesn’t know how to do anything except poke check on a breakaway, and he chokes up on the stick in order to poke check way too soon.

He was lucky he didn’t get beat by Marchessault there.

That's true but San Jose has been playing really well without Karlsson or Kane so they just seem like a safer bet at the moment assuming they get healthy

Nor here. And it’s not just that he allowed the goals - every goalie gets beat on a breakaway - but Rittich in particular looks like he’d been attending the Mike Smith school of goaltending on both of these.
