Thought the Jets deserved a better fate. Played at least as well as the Caps but sometimes goaltending wins you games.
And sometimes backup goalies win games for teams and out goalie the other teams starter. Broissot has done it several times this year for the Jets. 5v5 play favoured the Jets though not by a wide margin. But a back up goalie out goalied a star starter. The Jets had a 5 on 3 and a nice advantage in number of pp's and got skunked. Maybe the Caps got the fate they deserved.
Sorry Bruin's fans that's it, the Penguin's were just too much.

Honestly, not even upset. The Pens are a desperate team playing at home and came out really strong. But the Bruins regrouped after the first and were all over them the rest of the way but couldn't cash in on so many good chances. Would have been an easy game to pack it in early but they never quit until the the final whistle and that's how this team rolls.
Can't disagree that the Jets PP was trash tonight. Good job by the Caps defending overall. Jets had their chances but Copley did his job.Nicklas Backstrom, TJ Oshie and Jakub Vrana ate the Jets first line up tonight. That and effectively going -1 on the pp was why the Jets lost.
Now Stone.Big goal Smith for Vegas very early in the 2nd here.
