No ****, really?

I was able to get a picture with it last weekend, now it feels even cooler that we managed to luck out and get that while it was there.
If you were a season ticket holder back in 2003, they brought us in and gave us photos with the cup :)

Not sure this is the right place to ask, but where do you think the best spot to sit in NJ Performing Arts Center. I'm thinking about purchasing tickets to Experience Hendrix next year.

There really isn't a bad seat there but if money isn't an issue I'd recommend the center of the regular orchestra, not front orchestra, rows from like A to P. You're not too close but not too far from the stage. It's a great view.

They wont change, the games will remain the same. I'd say those are pretty poor choice though, lol.

1) Christmas time on a night many/most are busy or traveling
2) New Years eve when many are busy or traveling (at least it's a day game though)
3) Monday night, western non-rival
4) Tuesday night, western non-rival

This is exactly how it should be. The free tickets should be to games with attendance problems. Which is why I was surprised this Saturday is a "freebie" game.

Selling 2 tickets for Wednesday vs Montreal in section 216 row 3. Asking $35 total via PayPal. Also selling Friday vs Islanders for $70, same seats. Message me if interested in either game. Thanks.

Want to throw this out there: would like to find a partner (or 2) to split my single season seat in 124 for 19-20. Only must have games for me would be the Sabres (of course), Islanders and Oilers. Rags games would be split but if there are 3 I wouldn't mind letting a potential partner have it. Anyone interested please PM me.

No, but during the afternoon Devils game today they were posting odds on the rest of today's NHL hockey games on the jumbotron.

That kind of took me aback.

They've done that at every game since the partnership was announced. They post the out of town scores then put the game odds up. Personally, I think it's bullshit. They're (the Devils organization) basically advertising and attempting to entice people to gamble.

Ironically, I agree with both of you.

People need to have personnel responsibility, the spoon isnt making you fat. That said, tough to claim you're trying to create a, "fun, family atmosphere" when you're all-in on gambling. Seems odd to me.

I mean one of the new owners' first sponsorship 'gets' was PartyPoker lol, but now that gambling is completely legal in the state it's only gonna be more prevalent everywhere, not just at the Rock so might as well get used to it.

You're oversimplifying the personal responsibility thing, but I understand your sentiment.

They do make a substantial amount of income off of booze, have been pumping the lottery forever, and I don't doubt that as soon as mj is legal they'll figure out a revenue stream for that as well.

The family friendly nonsense was just that from the start.

Not sure if this is known for certain or not, but I know they did mystery pucks at Hockey Fights Cancer night last year. Anyone know if they're doing it again this year?

I'll be going with a buddy of mine and wouldn't mind trying to get in on time if they do. Lucked out last year to get a Bratt puck. Plus it goes to a good cause. :)

sports teams all over the world advertise sportsbooks and post odds at various places inside their venues or in matchday programmes. (like when i went to anfield for the first time)

it's only perceived negatively here because our laws have dictated that sports gambling was taboo for so long. (when in reality that's only because all the involved parties just didn't bother to figure out how to monetize it yet.) my $0.02.

consenting adults placing bets on sports is a choice. advertising alcohol products at sporting events is no more or less "family friendly."

I would hope they're still doing that. Definitely want to get there early, preferably when the doors open. I'm pretty sure you can only purchase 1 puck at a time. You then have to get back on line for another.

I DO have an offer ... would you trade the Bratt puck for the Dalton Prout I got last year?
