Vanecek with 0.883 Sv% and Copley with 0.882 Sv% so far this season. It is/was smart to say they both are AHL back-up goalies at best.
Vanecek 2.20 GAA and .915 sv%. Not looking so smart.

Is Djoos hurt now as well? Wondering why he got held out last night.
15th Qualified 2019/20 AHL season goalie after 5 seasons in AHL on a defensively stacked team. WOW! Hope he knows how lucky he is... to be a pro playerVanecek 2.20 GAA and .915 sv%. Not looking so smart.

It’s almost as if a team full of mainly first and second year players and a ton of new faces had an okay start to the season and are finally comfortable with one another and winning hockey games. Where did I see this before? Oh yeah just about every single year in the AHL, including the Bears last year. Maybe don’t be quick to jump down a players throat just because you think his stats suck15th Qualified 2019/20 AHL season goalie after 5 seasons in AHL on a defensively stacked team. WOW! How are they defensively stacked if noted ECHL scrub Lucas Johansen can crack their top 6 when healthy?15th Qualified 2019/20 AHL season goalie after 5 seasons in AHL on a defensively stacked team. WOW! Hope he knows how lucky he is... to be a pro player
Man, ECHL is elite nowadays. They even sent one guy to the NHL (Siege). How are they defensively stacked if noted ECHL scrub Lucas Johansen can crack their top 6 when healthy?
Hershey’s win streak sits at 9 games after a 6-5 OT win. Kody Clark with his first pro goal
If only he could become the player his father was. Oh man that would be a steal. His dad one of my favorite all time NHL players.
I lived in Saskatoon, growing up. You could tell he was going to be something special, watching him in Juniors.
Only 9 games in a rowThey lost, eh?
all good things come to an end
Only 9 games in a row
In all seriousness those 9 wins were crucial as they are only a few points back of first place in their division
Yeah it was at least 15. Kind of crazy how they go on these really long win streaks back to back yearsDidn't they have a 15 game unbeaten streak last year as well?
Lineups and highlights of Hershey's 3-0 win over Lehigh Valley. Goals from Pinho, Pilon and Snively. Hobbs gets back into the lineup after a lengthy streak of healthy scratches. The Bears now sit 2 points out of first place in their division.
I really like him. He's a very solid offensive defenseman and has rejuvenated the Bears top PP unit. He isn't going to be a game breaker defensively but he has all the tools (skating, IQ, shot, PP QB) to be an NHL player IMO. He hasn't come out of the lineup for a long stretch of games even with guys getting healthy. He essentially has forced their hand to continue to give him playing time after being scratched for the majority of the first few weeks.Haven't seen a ton of the Bears this year but Nardella always seems to look solid. Is there something there with him?

Maybe a 3rd pairing, offensive Dman/PP specialist. His physical height is an issue but he doesn’t get manhandled like guys his size would. Also like that he has played well on his off side.I like him as a sleeper. As you said, the skills are there. Size and opportunity might be his biggest challenges...
didn't realize he’s got some hockey bloodlines...dad is a coach in the AHL.
