That shootout made my eyes bleed. Man you can see the difference between the AHL and NHL level.

At least the Bears "won".

Copley dominated.....Fever looks really good defensively....

I thought Nardella also looked pretty decent. Very active.

No Djoos, LuJo, Snively or Sgarbossa again. Williams back but playing LD and Fever stays at RD. AJF making the most of his increase in ice time. He scored the PP goal to put the Bears up 1-0

Any chance Spencer Carbery gets consideration at the NHL level soon?
I’d say he’s trending that way. He’s taking teams with less overall skill/talent and having them work their tail off. That being said, I’d assume he’s still got a few years in the AHL before an NHL team shows interest. There’s still some AHL coaches ahead of him that probably get some consideration for NHL jobs (HC or AC) this offseason.

Still is crazy to me that Troy Mann hasn’t made it to the NHL as an assistant yet as well. He’s another one that played a solid developmental role on later round picks like Djoos and Boyd and got them to the NHL. At lot of people didn’t like Mann toward the end but you can’t write off his track record on development

Bears in action at Charlotte tonight.

Without Snively, Sgarbossa and LuJo again. Also no Alexeyev for the 2nd straight game. Will do some digging to see if he got a little banged up last Friday. Djoos returns to action.

Edit: Couldn’t find anything on Alexeyev. Fisch not responding to any tweets about him either. Also to note that Sutter has been out of the lineup now for 4ish games so don’t know what the deal is there

Front row tickets to the game on the 18th. Looks like 8 inches of snow coming though, might have to skip it. :( Hate the turnpike in the snow.

The tweet says AA is on the trip but is banged up and will miss the game.

Between Beck and Flowby the 4LW spot has depth. With NBs extension maybe they can afford to place Hagelin there though (CMM/Eller as 3LW).

Leipsic is in danger. Good in every sense.

Edit: losing Hags in the summer to mysterious tropical decease (hedgehog-sucker is the most dangerous one) could be palatable.

Eller as LW is a great move. Very few here understand that even McMichaelDavid placed on the left wing of this Lars 'passless PK run and shot offensive line chemistry disaster specialist' Eller will score no more than 30-40 points in a season.

Guess you weren’t watching last season when Brett Connolly put up 46 while playing on Eller’s wing. But yeah keep it up with your fantasy world idea that McDavid wouldn’t score more than 40 next to him

Why do they move Nardella&Djoos&Alexeyev&Fehervary from left to right and then from right to left and so on again and again?
Alexeyev has played LD all year. Nardella started at RD to get into the lineup and then injuries and call ups had him shifting to LD. They lost last night so they made lineup changes to try and spark a better game which didn’t work.

I’d wager they are trying Fever at RD as much as possible given the Caps have Kempny/Orlov/Siegs down the left side and RD will be a need next season if Gudas walks or Jensen is traded.

Plus it’s just a social media graphic to show the lineup. They make in game adjustments a lot
