Last night's tempo was insanely fast. For a season opener like that, off the charts speed by both teams. Very glad Fleury didn't look out of place in that type of environment because that's a huge step up from the ahl. Apart from that void on the left side the defense looked pretty good. Hurricanes have some huge forwards and it's a good thing our defense is finally capable of being physical. Weber, Chiarot, Petry, Fleury were all physical and they will need to play like that all year to compensate our forwards being so small. Even Armia made a big deference last night, he was very effective down low and along the boards.
