The Hockey News said:
Is a supremely intelligent player with good offensive skills. Can play both center and wing.
Can also play sound defense and score some big goals. Has a projectable frame.

Thrilled with Matthews :) Since some people still seem to be active, Iginla is actively available. Varlamov is also in play for teams wanting a goaltender. I have zero interest in taking a goalie in return.

The Calgary Flames are happy to announce they have come to terms with their two young stars, agreeing to long term contracts with both Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan. Details are as follows:

Johnny Gaudreau- 7 years, $49M, full NTC when eligible.
Sean Monahan- 6 years, $37.5M, full NTC when eligible.

And with that we'd also like to announce that we have named Sean Monahan as the 20th captain in Calgary Flames' history.

:kings still here...

Still wanna get rid of Dustin Brown.

Forbort, Shore, and other prospects and picks are available to land a solid contributing bottom-6 forward.

Gaborik is also available.

As the forward agent last game, I recommend there be two forward agents considering the number of high interest UFA forwards this off-season.
