I dont think Iowa was allowed to keep him once the WHL got up and running.

Somewhat ironically, Ty Smith is the biggest loss.
He also loses his center, Eli Zummack, but I was kinda banking on Beckman being a C for Spokane this season anyway, so I'm choosing to ignore that loss.

I don't know. I'm not very impressed by him personally. Big shot but lacks pace.

It’s a very hard league to score in. 1.7 points is phenomenal there. Really depends who is supporting cast is as well.

I think so. Like you said, he's 20 years old and warmed up against tougher competition. He'll be going against younger players, most of whom haven't played in a meaningful game for quite a while.
