I think Mark Stone is the best player comp for Boldy among NHLers. Both are tall and lanky with great hands and IQ and neither have the quickest feet. I doubt Boldy becomes a Top 5 W but I think we have a really good prospect on our hands.

Boldy is a much better skater than Stone, not as smart and doesn't have the same two-way game.

IMO- Boldy is more like Matt Tkachuk minus the douchery.

If he isn't careful, people might start thinking he has a future as a middle six NHLer.

I wasn't able to watch tonight. I can't tell if he only scores when I don't watch, or if it's just a straight rotation between him scoring and Nesterenko/McBain scoring.

Higher degree of difficulty. Anyone can score while on their skates. Boldy is clearly the better player.

E: Now Nesterenko picks up an assist. Some nice stick work and puck control in front of the net.

Nesterenko is going to be really interesting to follow for the next several years. Especially next year when he moves into a more prominent role with BC with Boldy, Newhook, Hutsko, and possibly McBain leaving.

We were fairly pumped about him coming out of the Q and thinking he was heading to the AHL. He’s kind of out of sight, out of mind right now.

I’ve tempered my expectations. I was hoping he would stick in the KHL. Still a good prospect but he hasn’t improved his stock much this year, maybe even taken a small step back.
